-1 Reason: chinese novels that has a "shameless protagonist" typically has a pattern of getting that novel axed or the ending is the protagonist having a harem and go to another world/cultivation, oh yeah i forgot if that chinese novel story setting is set on modern day it is always have a very very very heavy emphasis on "Racism" or "Superiority complex"
Be positive first. It's already completed and chinese, so we can totally spoiler ourselves with the ending chapter.
I read into it first. Definitely not a harem ending, there's no other world transmigration/summoning, and the story seems to be similar to The King's Avatar (about games and glory). Racism and superiority complex have a bigger possibility, but they are pretty true for humans, people are racists (or I would rather say judgemental) and feel uncomfortable when someone stands above them. Not every chinese novel is bad. Some are really good.
Patience and luck are needed, true, but "Hope is the last thing that you should give up." and not everything is the same. Otherwise, we would be only doing "novel racism" all day and miss the golden thread in the hay stack.
