For real, why do we die? Why doesn't nature/god give all living beings, from bacteria's to dinosaurs, eternal life?
So that we can be happy about the fact we live? So we can use our limited time to the fullest?
What is the actual use of death? Why can't life exist without a nemesis?

I'd love to see your take on this

The Goal of All Life is Death

P.S. Come on... there are some people that I don't want to see all my life. Imagine if they don't die, or if I don't die. That's an eternal hell.

Kind of a point less thread but I'll give my take anyways...

Life can't exist without death. Otherwise it loses meaning.

If we couldn't die that would apply to other animals and plants
If they never died we would have to eat them alive and they would never die while being eaten.
Since we would never die there would be way too many humans
    And they couldn't die
The only possible way to get rid of never dying humans is to eat them or melt them alive
If we are them we would eat them alive and they would feel ever single pain even as they are digested

The world would self destruct as there would be riots and the like and killings of family members by melting them in lava, crushing them or eating them and they would feel every single thing happening to them
People will be constantly killed via these way and the world would be overpopulated by animals that can never really die
    The world would self destruct

Because all that exists will eventually decay. Nothing is exempt from this law. The universe ultimately seeks equilibrium, life is chaos, and the second law of thermodynamics is an unfeeling, unflinching, merciless bastard.

We'd probably adapt some form of hunger games... Because boredom and a sense of mortality. Assuming biological immortality not true immortality.

How old are you? Now think about how many emotional scars, changed mentalities, and inner demons you have. Now compare that to you as a child, innocent, naive, pure. Now remember that roughly 80 years is the lifespan currently (some more, some less). Now if you had to double that lifespan, how many more scars, changed mentalities and inner demons would you have? Double it again...and once more...now do you see? Life has an end, because without an end, we would all become nothing more then sociopaths.

fuck being dead. I'm going to become immortal.

death is like a punishment game where you get to walk for eternity in a line waiting to be judged

Preface: I am an Atheist, so you're not gonna get any spiritual garbage or sky wizard nonsense from me.

Life doesn't have a "goal", death doesn't have a "goal" these things exist purely because they exist. They're like ticks, that way; existence requires no justification. Things that died gained an evolutionary advantage because death both removed the previous generation, freeing up resources, and allowed each generation of life to "iterate" and slowly advance. As a result of this advantage, mortal life proliferated. There likely are effectively immortal animals, plants, or what have you, if not in untouched areas of nature on this planet then in the universe at large. The problem is, if you don't die, you don't really need to breed. So proliferation of immortal life becomes a resource drain which confers no advantage. It could do so now, if humans could suddenly be immortal and expand infinitely into space, but it turns out opting out of all the evolutionary quirks that brought you into existence isn't currently an option.

Because our cell stops regenerating when we enter a certain period of age/time in our life

hmmm and my inner chuuni also says that we die so that we can meet the Goddess and get reincarnated into a another world XD
