And slavery goes way beyond 'black people' , every people has been a slave in a way or form at some point of time. The pyramids were built by slaves, and guess what, those slavers weren't white either.
It's "forbidden" coming from white people because it was used to address slaves. I would imagine the reason it became popular for black people to call one another by it, is because of solidarity; a way to mock the white men who "owned" them. That'd also be why black people call each other "brother" all the time. Well, that's my speculation anyway.

It's the same in anime when a character call each other Apes but if u were to call a Japanese person an ape or hairless gorilla u would be racist. Derogatory terms between the same race is more accepted between the same race. nigga is a way to collectively either associate with or put down black males in our culture same way caucasians self put down other caucasians but if another race were to do it, it would be seen as an attack on the race

There are only a handful of words that are not worth saying for various reasons. Nigg*er is one, Nazi is another. If you say the former, you are either of African ancestry and allowed to say it or any other ethnicity and an as*hole. As for the latter, you either view them as servants of Satan and the Antichrist/ Hell/ Cthullu/ The Darkness/ Etc.(Which is the correct thing) or you are a member/ sympathizer of them and view them as the best in the world.

ninja plz in all seriousness, it is simply a matter of culture. in some latin based languages, negro simply means the color black. Like in spanish for example. you can say nigga in some circles, but say nigger and you are considered a slave owner. But Asians generally have no chill, you can do what you want because you are also an ethnic minority. Whether you like it or not, there is a race war in America and you are participating. Mexicans, Blacks, Asian, etc. Everyone is fighting. Personally speaking and scientifically, race is simply a social construct invented by the rich to make other races that are also poor fight each other.
