Discussion Why so little love for Whitebeard?

    I've noticed for a long time but couldn't get to an answer about such lack of love for Whitebeard. While there is an amount of respect and love for him, it surprisingly falls short to some of the other characters which are not that great to be honest. He is one of the major reason, for why I love the Marineford Arc and i think this particular arc really separates OP from other shounen anime.
    Thoughts?

    I was about to say that why would you hate Whiteboard since there better than chalkboard.. then i look up and it's "Anime Discussion" and the tags.

    I think the death of Ace overshadowed whitebeard's death. It's like, Ace is dead, noooooo, then,
    oh btw, whitebeard like, also died soon after, lol
