I don't like little girls in a sexual way. In a novel, I only like it if they are a sister figure... Who are also not diehard bro-cons that get jealous of other girls and wants to marry their oniisama. I don't like lolis that are scary little things that wants to get into the MC's pants as if that's normal. This is something I find really troubling in manga and novels nowadays. For example, I started reading a manga a long time ago about these people raising and racing with dragons. The MC found an egg, which popped out a naked loli who is actually a royal dragon or something. The mangaka loves having scenes of her naked. "I don't like these clothes, strips. I'm a newborn, so I'm going to be suggestively naked and wet with stuff". I dropped the manga after the 5th time of her constant public nudity. Okay, why? I'm not into little girls. I don't want to see or read about naked little girls. I have a little sister, I'm not into nor do I desire to jump her. Even if this is a type of fan service. I don't think it's necessary in a story to make it good. A good story do not require a constant "in your face" nudity, especially from a little girl.
Two words. "Legal Pedophilia". It's disgusting, i know. People are a bit twisted when it comes to fetishes.
This is fair, but the manga is trying to appeal to several fan bases at once; one that likes dragons/fantasy, the one that likes fanservice regardless of age, and the one that like little girls. Unfortunately, this approach can put off other readers like you and me, especially if there is a weak story.
Usually, they disguise everything as 'innocence'. It's not like they take in consideration the age or mental.age, they just imagine things outside the term :children. There can be mature womens that have the body of a child, look at the term: petite woman and/or lolita. I think that the main possibility to cope with that is to 'cut' the children description and just ignore the children factor, seeing that lolita as a mature woman. That's what I try to do. And.. There are paedophiles, those are the main problem. They see childrens in a sexual way but.. I do not know how or if the lack of imagination/consequences seeing is what affects their attitude.
I did that for Ariferuta, but those girls are all so annoying with trying to jump the MC that I dropped it.

By society standards he/she will be shuned. It's like in the case of incest, where, if you say that you love your sis/bro ... Almost every time they'll think that sex happened or will happen. Society tends to mistake love from pheromones and that love always has something to do with the sexual act.

I understand that novels tend to have underage kids pairing with the MC. I prefer that they are atleast 15 in age and appearance.
I dunno.. those scary little loli are kind of a staple these days.. mostly theyre seen as "pets" that can be dominated by the mc whenever they want to. People throwing themself at the oposite sex for no reason at all isnt uncommon these days work. its just that those loli are one of their variant.
Oh, sorry, i've mistook the answer. Well, you can't ignore the fact that there can be womans that looks like a children and are flat as a board. In that case, you can't impose your own opinion - it's something like 'loli baba' or 'legal loli'.
