    Hard to say what is the worst when you are considering each person different preferences. Like the old saying goes: one man's garbage is another man's treasure. If I have to select a worst one it is old man VRMMO. The translate is absolutely horrible! Can't make heads or tails out of it! Painful to read.

    I agree. Boring is much worse. I'm looking at you Slave Harem in the Labyrinth of Another World. I kept reading out of curiosity to see if something actually happened. I gave up.

    is it worthy? does saying a novel sucks makes you feel good? did you ever think about what the translator can feel when he see it? not matter how bad a novel is there will aways be ppl who like it... same as you, no matter how good the novels you like is, there will be ppl who doest like it.

    however this kind of thead will only make the translator feel bad, there is not a good point about it.

    i havent read all novel in this web, but these are my opinions :
    - novel with only 1 information in 1 chapter and repeated the same information.
    - OP with no explanation, MC with many skills/technics and never uses those skills.
    - rape in magic/cultivation world where the victims didn't fight back, or get revenge.
    - and the worst is yaoi, disgusting

    That is not the reason I started this thread. There is a list of most popular novels so there must be a list of least popular. The translators do their best and for that I give them a big thank you.

    But the core of the problem is finding what people don't like to help broaden my knowledge. I wanted to find the general public's opinion.

    There will always be diversity and those who divert from the norm. Even among those who are already diverted like we are.

    But a generalized overlook on this subject will help me whenever I write my own novels. I may not be a translator, but I can appreciate what they do.

    well everyone have different taste.i like help google sensei somebody else dislike it, i like machine sliced bread translation work somebody else hate it,and i dislike Coiling Dragon aka panlong and somebody else love it for sure.

    but if i must make a joke, whoever hate R-18 novel after reading R-18 novel it must be because they didn't get b*ner after reading it.
