Discussion Worst novel you've ever read?

I was just thinking about the worst novel I've ever wasted time on and couldn't help but wonder about other people's experiences in this regard.. So how about we each share each others horrible experience...
I'd say, for me at least, it's Ark. I know there are a lot of ark fans out there and I admit it started out good but constantly went downwards until I couldn't even stand reading another sentence of it anymore and nearly ruined VRMMORPG novels for me lol again this is my personal opinion so for all you ark fans out there don't go attacking my mother for my own opinion

Ark the main series was awesome. i loved the characters and the story line. it was sadly very rushed in the end and he became farrrr to OP even he got bored of the game. So when the new series and new game came out i thought it would be amazing but i got incredibly bored of that so to summarise the first still pretty good and awesome. second was bland and sadly boring.

 

mine is "divine protection of many gods"
i dunno what makes me read that tittle, but God, i really regret that decision...

it's not even a guilty pleasure
i just keep on reading it, torturing my self, in hopes that it would just get better
but God, i think i've started to understand the feeling of those people who've been enticed by the devil...
oh the headaches and regrets.....

I honestly don't know lol. Because if they got worse and worse I just drop it outright so I never got to read it much. So I don't know what you mean is it like "You know this is so bad but you still read it" or "You read all of it and subjected it as bad".

The first one of Ark was kinda fine for me (maybe because the LMS translation rate that time was like a lot slower than Ark and never get to see the comparison much) but the sequel is kinda meh that I stopped reading after a couple of chapters.

 

For me its ISSTH, no hate please. I loved it, really, but with the introdiction of the parrot and meat jelly.......I started to have really hard time but I continued and the violet sect book was really good to read, but then..........when Meng Hao turned into evil doer, without any moral anymore in the desert.........I stopped. I stopped after Meng Hao stealing at the auction house, then scamming all the people pursuing him and in the end killing them all (they just wanted to act against a robber and a scammer), that was to much "free evil doings" for me. I kinda accepted Meng Hao doing torture (to create a lightning soul for his perfect cultivation), but after this it was to much............
All of those evil doing were the parrot ideas and I got spoiled by the fact that the parrot (which I never found funny tbh, excuse for not finding anything funny in "believe in lord 5th, gain eternal life") will follow him till the end of the novel.

Some friends told me to skip the desert book and just move directly to the next one (which is very good from what they say), but can't find anymore motivation for ISSTH.

No hate please. I've not read that much novels btw, but from all the novels I've started so far.....ISSTH is the only one I dropped.

I read till ch 30s and it was a total waste of time.

 

Kuro no Maou. Forced myself to read 155 chapters and couldn't get into it. The novel isn't bad, though.
It was the worst "time wasting" novel because i usually drop after 15~20 chapters.

 

this piece of shit, ultimate beta MC i can find who doesn't even have a brain.

tha author is so bad at making it a comedy that it isn't even funny anymore, just downright annoying.

I didn't bother with the second just skipped 3 volumes straight to the end of the first just to see the ending and I have to agree it was really rushed. The amount of luck and OPness he gained in the last couple of chapters far surpassed the amount weed + Xaio Yao Zi Zai obtained in the entire story of their respective novels. He went from a half OP mc to a dominator of his world, in a mere 3 volumes out of 24, that not even a cheat of all cheats could compare to..

 

I feel ya. That novel annoyed the shit out of me.
