    Yeah we don't know the full story perhaps, but it looks like we know most of it or as much as we can know from Ren.
    Just because Qidian hasn't forcefully done something yet (but they intend to), you still support them? Lol might as well just say you support what Qidian is doing right now.
    Regardless of whether they paywall their site or not, this action towards WW has already lost any good will I had towards the company, which was very little to begin with.

    i hope that a guy with a big heart will come out and create a pdf or epub version of all of those soon to be payable novels because im sure i cant afford a monthly subscription. i dont want to go out and find a job because of this shit,. i love my room you know,. i like it when my only excercise is to go down and eat in the dinning table,.

    Aggregator website is a thing you know. I don't support them, but, even if things go worst way for WW (which I sincerely hope that doesn't happen) there will be few guys who'll make a pirate website and earn $$$ via novels translated over QI.

    this whole fiasco is like those sects in your usual xianxia
    here whoever has more audience support wins
    before ren won over gravity
    now qidian wants more money, ren is blatantly asking to boycott qidian and spreading hate
    all this politics
    old ren wouldnt even have said anything public
    what happened when this stuff happened to gravity ??
    why didnt he talk in detail about that ?
    he is basically just trying to save his own behind, not the communities
    expected much more from ren
    my only hope is that translators wont get sad over this and drop novels
    all this branding is bad really...
    ren does it really matter if the novels are on wuxiaworld, gravity , qidian ?
    why not try to make sure the novels still remain with the original translators instead of original hosting site
    so much for not doing dirty politics....but dont worry! braindead wuxiaworld fans are always with you!

    Many moons ago I let the community know I was worried about WW growing so big, my reasons where about putting your eggs in one basket and that if they grew too big it might affect the translation community because it would become a monopoly, also things when they grow too big become troublesome (many called me silly and called me a hater the thread still exist if you're curious). Later I wasn't a huge fan of what happened with the translators from Gravity going over to WW, yes I understand it was the translators choice and yes I get that WW didn't proactively poach them so it wasn't really on them, but I still didn't like it. Now I hope you can understand my reasons when I say I'm not taking sides, why? Because in my eyes what is happening to WW is what happened to Gravity or at least somewhat similar, I will never side with Quidian even if they aren't doing what is said of them, but that doesn't mean I'll jump in and start waving the WW flag now. I hope everyone understands that it is not that I dislike WW, to the contrary I love em, and I see they are doing a lot of good for the community and they make sure their translators don't do scummy shit to readers, but I was worried then of what will happen once WW grows too big and RWX passes the torch and I'm still worried about the same thing.

    So there might truly be a war between WW and QI then? As the top sect among the big 3 as the moments, and with how they even tried to claim Gravity to pressure WW, I'm gonna support WW all the way.

    Already deleted their site from my bookmark, revoked all permissions given for their login and deleted their cookies. Will miss Gourmet Food Supplier but that is a small price to pay to support you guys against those *cough**cough**cough* guys *cough*

    When I read the term paywall, I was like "M*********rs, I was expecting that. That's why I have trained myself to read google translations....Kwahahhahah...'



    Honestly, skip that laugh...


    As for qidan, the moment they brought thks issue to public they basically lost any goodwill I had towards them. At the same, the way qidan is dealing with this issue is highly unprofessional and with complete lack of basic etiquettes.


    And #SupportingWuxiaWorld...


    And goddamn someone bring an official hashtag.

    you are truly a fool they are trying to do a hostile takeover on ww the authors that moved from gravity chose to do so by choice this is to protect the novels they got consent for not to stop them from persuading authors not to stop them from bribing them they are trying to stop them from blatantly stealing the translations that they own
