And when he was about to call the crown prince with xiao (small), he was advised not to bc it would be disrespect, so he called the crown prince with what he thought was the opposite of xiao (small) and that was lao (old). And then at the banquet, he claimed that his treasury had been depleted by the wars, so he and his minister could only eat pastries, but since it would be disrespected for the crown prince, they still served him and his minister with fish and meats. At the first day, the crown prince and his minions were laughing at the little emperor and the minister for eating pastries, but then at the second, third, fourth days and so on, they kept getting served with the same fish and meat dish. While the little emperor and his minister got different various pastries everyday (provided by MC). In the end, he and his minions got so fed up by meats that everytime they saw meats, they want to puke.
What was MC's reaction to being slap? and After he apologized, did she forgive him right away, well how did she react?
She was furious alright, she told him that originally she didn't want to but ML was the one that carefreely dumping the son to her while he was almost never at home, if he didn't trust her that much then why even bothered to give the son to her, and then she refused to take care of the son anymore, so she hoped that ML would put the son to others' care. ML was stunned at her anger, anyway she calmed herself down and told ML that the 1st priority was to find the son. After the son was found, MC found out that the son was following her and was a bit guilty, especially bc the son didn't tell anyone that she sneaked out of the residence. ML then felt bad and apologised to MC, and stating that he only did that bc he was panicked (again I don't really remembered whether he really did slap her or just blantantly blamed her), he never thought of putting the son in someone else's care and that he trusted her. Anyway, MC still kept her anger and ignored ML for a few days. The son got punished by kneeling overnight in the ancestor temple and not eating dinner. MC felt bad and presuade him to eat by giving him pastries and told him that dessert was not dinner. ML found out and got better view of MC. MC also promised the son that later when she go out, she would take him too, this was where MC's relationship with the son got better.

There was one guy that liked MC but he wasn't annoying. But ML's pursuers were rather annoying though. I remembered there was 2 of ML's pursuers, one was the princess who was the little emperor's cousin. She tried to embarassed MC few times but MC was expert at wars of words (due to her time with her stepmoms), so a little spoiled lady wasn't even her opponent. The second one was the enemy crown prince's sister. She fell in love with ML. The crown prince was also interested in MC, although I don't think he fell in love with her, but rather that he wanted to take what was ML's. He also kept grudge toward MC bc of his balding hair (injured when MC knocked him out with her wedding crown). So he offered to exchange the war prisoners if ML agreed to marry his sister. At first ML didn't agree, but it got complicated bc one of the prisoners turned out to be.... Spoiler the son's father . Anyway, MC heard that ML was about to take the princess in and anyway the time limit for the marriage had already long due, so she divorced herself in anger. It was actually only a rumour, but ML still undecided so to make him agree, the enemy princess tried to doused him with aphrodisiac (so many aphrodisiac involved, I counted 4 occasions), ML managed to retain his sanity long enough to escape and headed straight to MC's bedroom.
Can you tell me more about this guy that like MC? And so, ML didn't accepted right? And MC really divorced herself? When he escaped to MC's bedroom, they did the deed right? MC wasn't triggered more that time?
What happened with the princess in the end? Did she get angry? And with crown prince? What happened in the end with him?

Anyway he helped MC with establishing her new shop, Later we found out that he was ML's little uncle. He fell in love with MC and wanted ML to help him (as wingman or sth), so he dragged ML to MC's new shop and introduced ML to his little-aunt-to-be. And ups, the son and MC happened to be there. ML didn't take that well and angry(jealous) at MC and the little uncle. After the little uncle found out about MC's indentity, he gave up on her, but he still kept his feeling toward her. When he escaped to MC's bedroom, they did the deed right? MC wasn't triggered more that time? Spoiler: ??? Yes, they did it. It was the third time they had sex due to aphrodisiac, so MC wasn't very surprised. so what happened with that princess? Spoiler: the princess The little uncle took revenge for ML by doused the princess with the aphrodisiac and pretended to sleep with her (he actually didn't do anything toward her, but only stripped himself and her naked). He then offered to marry the princess instead. The princess, too embarassed, then ran away. The little uncle chased after her, and although he was still chasing her even in the end of the novel, I do think they would eventually ended up together. ....and how did the ml take the son's father back in the end? Spoiler: how With the princess gone, there wasn't many trouble that the crown prince could make, so they soon settled the agreement.
The little uncle did it for revenge but did he start like the princess then? For continuously chasing her.
The aphrodisiac Spoiler: 1. The first time was at their wedding night. To ensure that the wedding proceed smoothly, the little emperor doused ML with a very strong aphrodisiac. Bc of that, you could say that the first night was kinda rapey, since the MC kept refusing and didn't enjoy it at all. After the deed, ML apologised and told MC that he was under aphrodisiac, so MC forgave him but asked him to not doing that for the 2nd time. Then they never did anything since then until.... Spoiler: 2. When MC visited her family. Her stepmom (the second madam) had been abusing the shop so MC came to her eldest sister's & eldest brother-in-law's room to advise her eldest brother-in-law. Little did she know that bc that pair didn't have child and the second madam afraid that her eldest son-in-law would take concubine, so she laced his drink with aphrodisiac and MC ended up drinking it. When MC came back to her room, she and ML recognised the sign, so she started to strip ML naked and told him that since he had used her previously, now let her use his body and then they would be even. Spoiler: (3.) Not really doused with aphrodisiac but the little emperor forced ML to read all of his erotic book and didn't allow ML back until he finished it. So he went back in very arroused state and headed straight to MC, MC saw that he was weird and thought that he was doused with aphrodisiac again, ML didn't deny it and they did the deed. Spoiler: 3. The third time was when ML was doused with aphrodisiac by the enemy princess. He thought that the princess was quite similar to MC, I do think that he treated her as substitute, but then it was just my opinion.
MC was transmigrated from modern world so like other transmigrator, she had her own opinion, relied on herself to achieve what she want, etc. While the enemy princess' mother was a jianghu person, her mother died early bc she was very doted by the Emperor and the other concubines ploted her to death, before her death, she made the Emperor promised to properly take care of her daughter, so the princess ended up raised by some jianghu guy for years and she was very doted by the Emperor. This princess like to dress her self as male and go on some matches with other male and she never lose, she happened to encounter ML in some restaurant, they fought and she lost, since then she fell in love with ML. Anyway, she was quite tomboyish and independent, hence had a similar trait to modern woman.
