Discussion Your #1 Anime and Why?

i can't decide between dansho kokosei no nichijou and seitokai yakuindomo. both are anime that i always watch again and again and again and again.

it was the first and one of the only anime that made me cry
i mean that ending... damn

 

I liked Nobunaga Concerto, which is highly underrated due to its animation style. It has an amazing story & soundtrack imo.

 

OVA: Denpateki na Kanojo
- The way it plays with the concept of happiness, and the views it embodied were quite relatable to me.

Series: Tari Tari
- It was the 'perfect' mediocre teen-drama slice-of-life anime, and I loved it for it. I honestly couldn't state a single real flaw.

- The concept of 'drifting apart' in relationships is quite universal, I think.

The #1 one on my list is Puella Magi Madoka Magica the movie - Rebellion Story.

Why? Because it successfully expand the franchise, not just a random continuation to grab more money.

I like Shining Hearts. It's fairly similar to World of Cultivation in that the MC has no interest or talent in swordsmanship and just wants to be a baker in this case, but the rails (unsuccessfully) try to pull him back into swordsmanship.

Even the heroine gives up in the end, after the final fight in the show, where the MC is absolutely useless and the heroine just ends up freeing herself, and just feeds the MC a loaf of bread to let him recuperate. It's sort of like a "Well you tried" moment. If you've played Shining Blade you'll know why this is significant.

 

Hunter x Hunter (1999 & 2011) and Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood has always been my favorite anime.
I have already rewatched it five times or so. And will rewatch it more in the future.
I just can't get enough of the awesomeness~
