Your next smartphone?

My sociology teacher who is probably over 80 now said in the 1950s they took a shower once a week in the US

 

that must have been real cold then...
i remember back when i was still a kid, the temperature isn't as bad as today...

i can even sleep without aircon when i was still a kid...

 

Had nothing to with the weather just that poor hygiene was the norm then and water wasn't easily available I guess
Third world countries still have something similar
I watched a video in which girls from a part of India had to walk 6 hours to fetch water and that was the main reason the boys went to school but the girls didn't
If it took 6 hours to get water everyday with no river nearby, I bet they shower even less

 

i'm also from 3rd world country, but nothing like that...

i guess we need a new term then, like 4th world or 5th world...

but that is really bad hygiene, i'm not sure if i could do that, not taking a bath for days...

 

I would think people living in desert regions wont shower so much

 

dessert is an obvious, but i think if they live on the oasis part, then they will took shower often...

Window 10? I use windows 8.1(?) I think on PC and it's alright. I have seen windows 10 though and it doesn't feel as nice. But maybe that's because I'm just not used to it.
You would use either blue tooth or earphones for the calls right? I had a good laugh imagining someone putting a tablet to their ear ^-^

Well... 1st/3rd world country are already outdated terms though...

The ones that are commonly used nowadays are developed, developing and underdeveloped countries...
