Theme: Discovering Title: Strive to live Whats it like to live in pain? Tomorrow i wait in vain. To live for nothing in gain. As my days would rain. I live my life, chained in misfortune. Melody of despair, ringing in tune. My first love ended with no path. I only saw my mom in death. A smile for the saddest face, Walking a path with no pace. I strive for a future Yet, a life without any feature. "Die, kill, give up..." Ringing like mad Insanity, as madness me bad. "Why live? Why continue?" No reason to live Yet, as i continue to believe. A future of nothingness Insanity of Madness Yet, why do i still continue to live? No use to continue as there was no believe. Friends, family, why push me on? Ongoing without any reason. Yet, i smile with no reason. I continue my life as a person.

Theme: Discovering Title: Road to You Staring at your picture I miss you, Even more than I thought I would. It isn't enough to remember, The times we spent together. Under the endless sky, That stretches too far. Catching the train to you, Is not possible, When you live so far away. Have you forgotten us? Have you forgotten me? One day, One week, One month, One year. However long it takes, I will travel the world. To find you, To be with you.
Hahahahaha thanks for leaving your trace here then~ I hope you do enjoy reading the poems! If you want to challenge yourself (it isn't a competition of the best poems just something to do to give ourselves a challenge with different themes) then check out the poem challenges in my signature~ You don't need to be fancy, poetry is pretty much writing down your feelings/thoughts/anything that comes to mind. I find writing poems for myself and not caring about the judgement of others is a good way to start. If you don't like the poems you create you can always improve! Starting off small with 4 lines or so gets the inspiration flowing, it doesn't take much time at all. After all poems don't necessarily need to rhyme! I look forward to finding out what you think about my poems when you eventually read them all
I have read your poems I also like to write poems but I don't know if I have written them properly. I mean, it's not poetic at all Oh.. well, thanks for your suggestion and encouragement ~These are some of your poems that I'm really like~
Oh I see I see Hmm well you can always as for constructive criticism by posting them on your own profile or at our @Poetic Hall of Reflection this profile is a good place to post poems! What do you mean by not poetic? What do you think is poetic? hahah sorry for the questions but I am curious~ It's not a problem, I like talking to people about poems/poetry. I am no expert myself but it is rather fun. Especially when we can just relax and enjoy each others poems \o/ Glad you found ones that drew you in I haven't even thought about which one I like the best...I should pick one out one day!
It's something like the diction is not good enough so I can't feel/understand the feelings/anything that the author wants to convey. Haha.. it's very subjective, right? Forget it!
Theme: Discovery Title: My Saving Grace An adorable vixen Beloved fixation Aggressive tension Excessive red facts Bitter black slacks The flickering lights Becomes my plight The stutter bug extracts tactless lies from me Treating our lovely guest to a grand mess Shouldn’t I stop being a pest? And go back to the west? Isn’t that for the best? Alone again with my phone Bright glowing throne Screen eerie Eyes Teary A warm embrace A leaking face My saving grace
Theme: Discovering Title: Mirror of Me (Based on how to train your dragon)Then the sun falls, and the night come Hiding in darkness, he will come A blue thunder A frenzy roar A nightmare Monster of fear Monster of dead I shot, it fall Helpless Defenseless At my mercy, I hold a knife Just a stab, just a stab I chanted fearfully I raise the knife, take a glance, and let it free A single glance, might it be Still was enough To shake my heart, to shake my belief What I saw, was not a monster But a ceature, without hate, without anger What I saw, was a mirror of me Frightened, helpless and defenseless Just like me As if our fate was tied, I see it again and again Learn to know, discover truths Fight between, life and death Before I know, we was friends Through, one foot and one fin less A stronger bond, of a dragon and a man Through a bond of two, it's fly again With me on the back, discover another view, another world How I wish, the time will forever and ever stand still
I write a poem but I think its theme doesn't match with the challenge. Wkwkwk.. Just want to share it. [Edited] Theme: Distance # Lowlight # I wake up in the dark night Something doesn't feel right There's a beam of candlelight But, it extinguished outright . . Dear, I’ve been waiting fortnight I act like a playwright Sparking the firefight Hiding from the spotlight But, something doesn’t feel right You gaze at me in affright As if you see a dreadful blight I wonder if it’s a foresight . . May .. I think I’m not being forthright I could never be your knight The crack is not an oversight We have to part in the twilight
It's depend on how you feel, but you should add a theme for your poem anyway~ btw. I think it's match distance theme quite well?
@Princess Renesmee what Sio said ^^ your poem does fit with the distance theme quite nicely. It is up to you if you want to tag that challenge though~ A good poem when you put your mind to it! Practice is really all we need, that and inspiration! *hugs @Siostar before dragging herself off to bed*
Theme: Flower Spoiler: White Chrysanth {} # White Chrysanth # We first met in the autumn . . On the fragrance white expanse As pure as the driven snow . . . Dancing cheerfully with the wind . . . A smile is always there when blooming beautifully Look like buttons of petals With a fine tinge of yellow . . Whatever your forms . . Wish to hear an honesty Tell me the hidden truth Why do many people like you? Okay.. I want to join the challenge (I mean other themes) Buuut.. I lack inspiration now... Good bye
Oh.. really? Well, I'll add the theme. @BlancFrost thanks.. I really need practice and practice. Also, inspiration. Ah.. it's quite difficult for me. *Go to sleep => Hopefully I can get inspirations in my dream*
Poem Challenges Playing with Poems Sixth Theme (Unlocked) A challenge for those who want to do it. Themed poems to enjoy and share, among those who dare: Walking through the night The silhouettes of the trees swing in the dark The cold wind howl with a strange scent Only the sounds of her hurried steps resound on the old road Breathing roughly she make her steps faster As she notice the shadows sneaking between the trees Her heart beating fastly as she moves frenetic Her mind becoming hazier as she desperately tries to escape The theme for the sixth group challenge is [Fear]. Theme: Fear Title: Fear of being UnlovedChildhood, so sweet yet so painful A love that i wish to be so meaningful A recipie for joy yet also for fear For you, i hold you so dear Three hearts yet two are connected A heart so lonely and shattered Love me back? Nay, i am just forgotten A lonely friend, a fruit of rotten As you were savored in his kiss, As your body in his arms, I can only, in afar, just a friend to be called. You were my sunshine, You were my innocent flower, Yet, your heart taken, by someone i also cherished. I fear of being alone, I fear of being forgotten, Yet, that fear was my only friend Hugging my back, whisper in my ears "Nay, nay, she loved someone else, you are alone." His smile crooked, yet so understandable I am alone, everything taken for i am not the one. A fairytale? For i am just the helper. It started out as friends, a bond of three For which, a part of a tree Two are connected by a string of fate Only one, cut from the very same fate Fear of being alone, fear of being Unloved
