When he cheats in class, he will always be discovered; when he is out after curfew with his friends, he will always be the first one to be caught red-handed, and etc. So one day, MC pulls an all nighter playing games, feels dizzy, and fainted. When he wakes up, he hears a voice from a system called 444 in his mind, saying that he has died in his real world, and now he has to complete the tasks given to him in order to go back. So far, this seems like a typical world-hopping story, and I thought so too, but boi how wrong was I. The concept itself is a bit unique from the usual face-wear stories. MC is not required to change the original's owner fate, instead, his task is to reduce the evil value of his targets. To quote the system, everyone has evilness in their heart, and each target was chosen because their evilness are far greater than a normal person. Each of his targets will have 10 point of evil value (which is the full score), and he has to reduce them until it becomes 0. Since the novel was talking about evil value, I should have guessed the arcs would not be as light as I imagined. No, this story actually touches darker themes than the usual fast wear novels (at least the one I've read). In the first arc alone, the MC is forced into the role of a drug-addict prostitute, and yes, in this arc we will encounter those things (drug abuse, prostitution, and even murder). But it's nothing graphic, so this story is not as dark as it seems to be. There are many sweet moments too, actually. It's just, the topics grazed in here are a bit darker than some. The other thing that makes this story different is, MC does not always get roles as a petite beautiful man. Oh no. In arc one, he becomes a super thin, sickly-pale, unruly 30years old. In arc two, he is a bulky, muscular handsome inmate, while ML actually takes the role as a beautiful slender man (tho MC is still the one being drilled in the end lol). And in arc three, MC becomes someone so ugly his grandmother actually hates looking at him. And for me, this actually makes their love story somehow feels more real, because there is no love at first sight, not even instant attraction, their affection builds up through a process of them spending time together (more on ML's side really, since MC will stay his stubborn little I'm-just-doing-anything-for-the-sake-of-finishing-my-task-ASAP self for the first few arcs). Oh, and the ML is a yandere borderline psychopath sometimes, which is just as expected from someone who has 10 point evil values. And, as a lover of anything fluffy, I'd usually stay far away from this kind of ML, but somehow, for some reason, I just couldn't stop reading this story. I also skipped ahead to peek at the ending (because I'm just this kind of reader), and really, It took me by surprise. The truth about the system, and why is MC doing world-hopping is not something that I'd have guessed before. Aaaand this has become a really long-ass commentary from me, so I'd stop now. But this much commentary is needed to points out how different this novel is. Even though it might not be for everyone. @alexfilia
