Recommendations Villainess - Regrets and Happy Ends

Hello everyone!

Looking for Villainess stories that leave the "capture targets" in regret and the Villainess with a happy end.
Read a couple already where the [Villainess] turns out to be the good gal and the [heroine] which isn't as much fun.
Something along the lines of "Common Sense of a Duke's daughter" would be fine or "The banished Villainess' Husband" (although there's not much regret yet, but one one of the entourage kinda asked the ML to come back from exile)

Doesn't matter too much if the villainess is exiled or something, what I'm looking for is that "regret"part when the other characters either recognize "she wasn't that bad actually" or "why is everything suddenly turning out bad without the villainess around?"

Both male leads regrets what he did to VIllainess in the end, but she has moved on.

BxG novel would probably spending the Villain's Money to Extend My Life.

 

The regret is strong in this one. Its not transmigration or anything but it fits - Akuyaku Reijou wa Danna-sama wo Yasesasetai

 

Yeah I really like this one...it has a great plot n full of fluffs...

Hmm....it's not that the FL is a villainess but is treated as one...n she later abandons her throne, cheater/idiot of a husband n remarrieds the king of another country...that's when the hubby regrets his decisions as he unveils the real character of the woman for whom he left his wife/queen... Remarried Empress

 

i recommend-akuyaku reijo no koi wo shite
it has a great romance is a shoujo novel with male mc.the villainess loves the male mc while the vilainess fiance the prince hated her but loved the heroine who was transmigrated but was filled with regret after he kills villainess's brother when he fell in love with her and was jealous of the mc and she and the mc was exiled to a backwater region after their marriage the heroine becomes evil at the end

 

I actually enjoyed it despite the heavy topic.
And I am man enough to say I shed a teat during her arc.
There is something, that might have made a bit more impact for me:

Spoiler: A different Ending

Instead of him finding out about her sickness while they were married and having those last few sweet moments, imagine that he either left or - I think more powerful- her letting him leave (loving means learning to let go) and he goes back to his previous flame.
Then similar, he realizes the ex doesn't love him as unconditionally as she did, he tries to find her later only to learn that she has died, alone (well, maybe in the company of the guy who took over her father's company.)

She left him a letter explaining how sorry she was for stealing those few years away from him and that while she treasured the moments they had, she couldn't burden him with seeing her in that state. And while she would be happy to have him remember her as the dutiful wife that always waited with his favorite food ready, she just wants him to be happy from now on

It's a manga. Each chapter is a oneshot of a different set of characters, but it always ends with the villainess getting a happy conclusion.

It’s more like the villainess waking up and deciding not to follow the goddamn plot. But definitely with a happy and satisfying end. Plus overall plot, characters and writing are of quality, I think.

Haven't finished catching up with that though but I heard that's pretty good.. (I think there's one other thread similar to this before but it doesn't matter..)

 

I've always wanted to read that but the first chapters are nowhere to be found huhu.

 

Kinda more humorous but I've really enjoyed Beware the Villainess. I read the webcomic since the novel translation is...much farther behind and also the art is pretty great.
